1.  A safe room or storm shelter offer the BEST protection from a tornado. Check with your local officials for locations.

2.  The 2ND BEST protection is to curl up & take cover inside a windowless room on the lowest level of a sturdy building.

3.  You may not be w/ loved ones during a storm. Practice how you'll stay in touch; texting & social media may work best.

4.  Storms can develop quickly. Follow weather conditions from local officials & media, especially if you are out & about.
